Mobile and Mac app development

For businesses that need an app on iPhone, Mac, or both. The plan names which of those, and the stack, before we start.

What you get

  • An app for iPhone, Mac, or both, as named in the plan.
  • A build you can try before it goes to a store.
  • The store listing and the privacy details that store asks for, when the plan includes a store.
  • Submission, and the back-and-forth with review.
  • The project files and a short handover note.

How it works

  1. 1

    Call

You tell us who the app is for and what the first version must do.

  2. 2

    Plan

We list the screens, and what waits for a later version.

  3. 3

    Build

You try the app on your phone before it goes to review.

  4. 4

    Launch

Where the plan includes a store, we prepare the listing, submit the build, and deal with review until it's approved.

Stack

  • SwiftUI

SwiftUI. Apple apps are built in SwiftUI, from the screen through to the build the store reviews.

Questions

How much does it cost to build a mobile app?

It depends on the number of screens and what has to happen behind them. We don't publish a price list. Tell us what you're building and we'll price that scope in writing.

How long does it take?

We don't publish a standard number of weeks. Smaller first versions ship sooner, and we'll usually suggest one. You get a date once the scope is written down.

Who owns the code when the project ends?

Who holds the repo is written into the agreement before work starts. Ask in your message if the code needs to sit in your name.

What happens after launch? Do you fix bugs and keep it updated?

Fixes and updates after launch are written into the scope before we start. Tell us what you need looked after and we'll include it. We don't advertise a fixed support window on this page.

Will you sign an NDA?

If you need an NDA, say so in your message before you share anything private.

Can you fix or finish a project someone else started?

Send what exists, or describe where it stopped. We'll read it and tell you whether finishing it or rebuilding a piece is the sensible path.

Do you handle the App Store submission?

Yes. We prepare the listing, fill in Apple's privacy details, submit the build, and deal with review until it's approved.

Bring the idea. Or the app that's stuck halfway.

Send a few lines about it. We read every message.
